Products to Reduce Glyphosate and Improve Results

In a perfect world, no one would use Glyphosate and crops would grow successfully without damaging weeds. We don't live in a perfect world. Weeds are a constant pressure, and the fight seems never-ending. Farmers have become dependent on Glyphosate and Glyphosate-tolerant crops (GMO Roundup Ready), in spite of the secondary and often unrecognized problems they cause. To understand how it works, read Effects of Glyphosate on Soils and Plants.

We're here to tell you there is a better approach! We have two products that can minimize the volume and frequency of glyphosate (and other chemicals) and reduce some of the negative side effects.

Ampersand

Ampersand is a multi-functional adjuvant for foliar applications designed to maximize the efficacy of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and nutrients. Ampersand should be applied with the first and all subsequent sprays. Ampersand allows longer duration between chemical applications, resulting in less total chemical usage.

The properties of Ampersand not only allow greater duration between applications, but also allow you to use less Glyphosate (or other chemicals) per application with better results. With the addition of Ampersand , you cut the Glyphosate concentration by 50%, but the results are as good or better than previous full-strength applications, even at longer intervals.

Reducing the overall volume of Glyphosate (or other chemicals) applied to the plants and the soil helps to reduce some of the toxic side effects, and especially reduces the amount of residual toxins stored in the soil.

Glyphonix

Glyphonix is designed to inhibit the mineral tie-up that occurs when glyphosate or glufosinate (negatively charged) herbicides chelate or tie-up the positively charged macro and micro-nutrients in the plant. These herbicides are often applied at crucial growth stages when the plants are determining yield. The resulting mineral loss causes reduced yields, stunting, bronzing, yellowing, stress and a weakened immune system in plants. The application of Glyphonix is especially critical to maintain plant nutrition as the plant determines and sets yield. Glyphonix is made up of natural compounds that stimulate plant growth and boost the plant’s immune system as an added defense against soil pathogens which are rapidly stimulated by the use of glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides.

Glyphonix does not interfere with the herbicidal action of glyphosate or glufosinate. Glyphosate is a patented antibiotic and as such kills beneficial microbes at the rate of 1/10 of 1 ppm. It takes nearly 4000 times as much glyphosate to kill soil pathogens. This results is a rapid reduction in beneficial soil microbes and a huge expansion of the pathogen populations; thus the need for a strengthened immune system in the plant.

Glyphonix is designed for use on all GMO herbicide resistant crops such as corn, soybeans, alfalfa, cotton, sugar beets, canola, etc.

Typically, there is a 10-day plant slow down after glyphosate applications. This is directly attributed to the lack of nutrition cause by the mineral chelation. By inhibiting the chelation and maintaining constant nutrition, you eliminate the growth lag, resulting in stronger plants and better yields.

Foliar Micro Boost with Bio Release

Since glyphosate ties up minerals, you can also deal with the loss by applying our complexed micro-nutrients at the same time you spray the herbicide. Since the nutrients in Foliar Micro Boost are already individually chelated, and applying them with Bio Release increases that buffer against glyphosate chelation, these micro-nutrients will make their way into the plant and replace the minerals that have been taken by the ghlyphosate application. Since most of our farms already have Foliar Micro Boost and Bio Release on the farm for their nutrient foliars, this is a simple, effective solution to compensate for glyphosate chelation, when necessary.
