Avian influenza has made its way into the news again, and again, and again. Each time we have an outbreak, it becomes more difficult to control. The cost is astronomical; in lost birds, workforce layoffs and inconsistencies, expensive control attempts, reduced egg output, higher egg prices (for consumers), shortages, and more. Then we have the physical and emotional toll on the farmers and their workers as they watch sick birds die or euthanize entire flocks.
All of this pain and suffering, on the part of the birds, the farmers, and the consumers, is unnecessary and we are tired of all the drama and complaints!
We solved this problem over a decade ago and have been protecting flocks for years.
