Avian influenza has made its way into the news again, and again, and again. Each time we have an outbreak, it becomes more difficult to control. The cost is astronomical; in lost birds, workforce layoffs and inconsistencies, expensive control attempts, reduced egg output, higher egg prices (for consumers), shortages, and more. Then we have the physical and emotional toll on the farmers and their workers as they watch sick birds die or euthanize entire flocks.
All of this pain and suffering, on the part of the birds, the farmers, and the consumers, is unnecessary and we are tired of all the drama and complaints!
We solved this problem over a decade ago and have been protecting flocks for years.
Too many people are wasting their time focusing on the wrong target. You can’t get rid of the virus, and vaccines of this type will always be less than effective. Stop spending millions of dollars for solutions that can’t work and instead, address the real problem.
The solution is deceptively simple. So simple, in fact, that many don’t believe us when we tell them. It isn’t even expensive. Yet we have been preventing infection for many years, with many farms and flocks unaffected by the recurring disease cycles of the greater population. We would like nothing better than to share that solution with you.
First of all, we do not target avian influenza, or any other virus or pathogen, directly. As our grandparents always said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!” It is as true today as it was 100 years ago.
Our focus has always been on the overall health of the animals, with particular attention on the digestive system, which is responsible for 70-80% of the animal’s immune response. If an animal has a healthy digestive system, it leads to a healthy immune system. A healthy immune system will repel almost any pathogen before it gets a significant foothold in either the animal or the flock/herd.
A stronger digestive system with a healthy immune system leads to a stronger, healthier animal, with better conversion and performance by almost any measure.
This is not new. We have been doing this for many years, and through all those years, not one of our poultry flocks has ever tested positive for avian influenza, or e-coli, or salmonella. Our egg-laying flocks are stronger, healthier, more productive, and their active laying duration increases significantly. Millions of birds are currently using these products, and they are all healthy.
We have seen the same results in hogs and cattle.
Ours is not a new miracle drug, just a simple, specific blend of live anaerobic digestive microbes with a natural trace mineral supplement. That’s all. We could spend hours (and often do) teaching about the biological and cellular responses connected with these probiotics and minerals, but most people don’t want to know that. All they want to know is that it works, and it does.
With poultry, all you do is mix 1 quart of BioProbiotic and 1 pound of trace mineral powder per 1 ton of feed and then feed as normal. The birds like it, and they feel better because they are healthier. Plus, the probiotics increase the feed conversion efficiency for the birds, so they increase performance while reducing consumption. Most egg barns save at least 15% in feed, while increasing egg output, size, and shell strength.
In addition to the health benefits for the animals, the probiotics also change the digestive output, greatly reducing ammonia levels in the barns and reducing the respiratory stress of the enclosed birds as well as the workers who care for them.
Stop worrying about a specific virus! Just focus on building the bird’s natural strength and health. These probiotics work, they are easy, and they are inexpensive. If you don’t believe us, just try it on one barn and see how your birds respond. They will thank you. And the next time we have an influenza outbreak, you can rest easy knowing your flocks and your livelihood are safe.
